BLAINIE BURGER
Blainie was first lured into the idea of being a bass player when she was in pre-school and she traded and collected Kiss cards. She blames Gene Simmons for it all.

After she graduated from pre-school her music tastes became a little more discernable and she was often found playing air-bass to Pseudo Echo, and later 1927.

These days Blainie likes to steal bass riffs from, and groove to, bands like The Salteens, Belle & Sebastian, Even, Mint Royale, Weezer, Biftek, The Eels, Wilco, Golden Smog, Guided by Voices, Lemonheads, You Am I, The Fauves, Grandaddy, The Shins, Sekiden, Stephen Malkamus, Apples in Stereo, Silversun, Superdrag, Pulp and Teenage Fanclub. She claims to like these bands alot, but having the attention span of a 3 year old, these are likely to change daily.

Before being the resident bass player in Burgerville, Blainie was often found skulking around gigs trying to find a band that would let her join. She played bass for pop-rock band 'Deb' who recorded a CD called 'Things We Used to Do' and toured Bunbury. Unfortunately, not long after that it all came crashing to a halt.

"Being in the Burgers is fun.", Blainie says, "You get to drink beer, act like an idiot and sometimes they pay you. What more could you ask for?"

Blainie is a professional juggler and when she is not rocking out with B.O.B she can often be seen in bright orange overalls in shopping centres around Perth performing feats of dexterity and chaos.

Blainie also enjoys drinking coffee, likes penguins and wants to go to Japan.
