CHAD BURGER
Chad was born on the 9th of April in 1978. That makes him eternally 21 years old. He was raised in a small country town called Beverly, and then later in Darlington. Chad would like to think he has outgrown his "bogan youth". However if one merely swaps ones' flannie for a cowboy shirt, then one can hardly claim to have transformed from an ugly bogan-ling into a swan, can one?
Chad once learnt how to play classical guitar, but has since spurned his fingernails for a plectrum. He has also featured in a number of bands whose members consisted of various combinations of highschool friends (and some which exist only in his mind). At one gig with a previous band everybody listening left the venue (a sheepshed) to kick flaming toilet rolls around a paddock in the rain. The night was hailed a success for the town of Boyup-brook.
Chad currently has an unnatural affection for cheesy keyboards, his old 8 bit NES, and has harboured more love for his Datsun 120Y than some people might say is healthy.
The bands he lists as tops are; Custard, Biro, Grandaddy, TMBG, The Jackson 5, Ratcat, Dinosaur Jr, Frenzal Rhomb, Rhapsody, The Flaming Lips, Heavenly, The Kinks, Superkorv, Jonathan Richman and the Modern Lovers, The Titanics, The Fauves, Mike Oldfield and Chris Isaak. The first recording he ever owned was Pink Floyd's 'Delicate Sound of Thunder'. He still has it.
Chad currently works at a rather well known psychiatric hospital in Perth. He is a registered nurse.
Chad likes to dance, and people who buy him drinks. |
