DEE BURGER
Her name is Deanne (Dee to her friends and enemies alike) and it is considered very rude to ask a ladies age, especially on a band bio.
Before drumming for the Burgers juggernaut, De attended primary school at Weld Square, Morley where she tried to learn classical piano. Moving through to High School saw De's musical taste develop to the likes of New Kids on the Block, Rick Astley, Metallica and Def Leppard. The public deserves to know that De has actually seen all of these bands live in concert and there are unsubstantiated rumors circulating that she may have had her fringe permed for the occassion. We can see on De's Hair page of fun, that this began to cultivate the love of fine music that would eventually lead her to the BOB fold.
De's first car was an '82 Kermit Green Gemini - called ....... Kermit which she kept for six years and loved with a passion.
With regards to other facts about De, it is interesting to note that when in high school De went to Italy (Sicily to be exact) for 3 months as an exchange student. Ask her about her brush with the long arm of the law if you see her (!).
De likes beanies, head scarfes, knitted jumpers and funky shoes! She owns a particularly cool Salteens t-shirt (relinquished by a naughty Sekiden).
When not drumming up the big stuff with BOB, De can be spotted dancing with other assorted Burgers to the likes of RatCat, Weezer, Custard and more, either in the comfort and safety of their own homes or at the 'Tramp. De loves Gin, Red Wine and those Lucky Strike's........"i'm toasted". |
